Wandering Through Time | SALA 2026

1st - 31st August

Wandering Through Time captures the feeling of moving gently between past and present. Inspired by travels through Europe, this collection expands beyond natural landscapes to include fragments of architecture. Sunlit facades, quiet streets, and enduring stone forms that carry a sense of history.

Painted in oils with a bright, expressive palette, these works reflect the warmth and openness of travel. Moments shaped by light, colour, and passing impressions. Architecture becomes more than structure; it acts as a subtle reminder of the lives and histories embedded within each place. Through this lens, the paintings invite viewers to wander alongside these scenes, experiencing time not as something distant, but as something softly unfolding.

It felt as though I had stepped back in time when strolling through the grounds of Versailles. The idyllic setting sparks a longing to live a simpler life in the French countryside.
